Cafe Pitti | Our Story
Wood-fired Italian on the Hudson waterfront
We're on Front Street in Newburgh, right on the Hudson. Jose and Giselle run the place, and the smell of the wood fire is the first thing you'll notice at the door.
The oven at the center
Our kitchen is built around a wood-burning oven. Thin-crust pizzas, panini, oven-baked pastas, fire-roasted fish, and steak all come out of it.
Italian flavors, our own twist
The menu starts with classic Italian dishes like fresh pasta, seasonal seafood, and fire-roasted meats. We give each one its own interpretation.
The waterfront table
Come for a weekday lunch or settle in for a long dinner, with the river just beyond the windows.
From sunset to dessert
There's always time for a glass of wine or sangria, then gelato, pastries, or a specialty coffee. Nobody here is in a hurry to finish.
